Today, Deadline announced that Straight Outta Compton and Fate of the Furious director F. Gary Gray has been tapped to helm Paramount’s upcoming Hasbro film M.A.S.K (Mobile Armored Strike Kommand).
Like their other franchises like Transformers, G I Joe, Micronauts and ROM; this is expected to be set within the same universe. However, that is yet to be determined. No screenwriter has been attached but the film is expected to be a modern take on the 80’s toy line with a youth empowerment angle. With the agents of M.A.S.K taking on the evil organization of V.E.N.O.M.
