Today after news broke that Marvel Studios might have found their screenwriting duo on their female superhero movie Captain Marvel; news broke that DC’s Wonder Woman film has lost it’s director. According to The Hollywood Reporter director Michelle McLaren (Breaking Bad, Game of Thrones) has walked away from the upcoming Wonder Woman solo film based on “creative differences”. This isn’t the first time a female director left a comic book project. Patty Jenkins was once tapped to direct Thor: The Dark World before leaving over the same problems with Marvel. Now the hunt is on to find McLaren’s replacement. Some fanboy’s think this means Michelle McLaren should play in the Marvel playground on Captain Marvel but that most certainly may never happen.
