Disney’s Winnie-the-Pooh Re-Imagining ‘Christopher Robin’ Begins Production This Summer

Recently, Disney announced that a live-action re-imaging of the Winnie-the-Pooh story is in the works. Currently, it will follow child hood friend Christopher Robin as an adult when Winnie-the-Pooh reenters his life. Which sounds an awful like Robin Williams Hook from the 90’s. Which had an adult Peter Pan go back to Neverland after his children were abducted.

We at Omega Underground have learned that production on Christopher Robin Christopher Robin is expected to begin filming this Summer in the United Kingdom:


Disney is looking in casting a high name actor for the film with Benedict Cumberbatch being pursed at one point. Finding Neverland director Marc Foster came onto direct last year. With writer Tom McCarthy set to pen the script. (via Variety)
