Today, our friends over at That Hashtag Show revealed many character descriptions for Paramount’s upcoming G.I.Joe (soft) reboot. The report mentions that the title of the film will be G.I.Joe: Ever Vigilant.
It is also being developed to be apart of Paramount’s Allspark Cinematic universe along with a new Transformers, Micronauts, M.A.S.K and Rom movies. The report also mentions that the studio wants to bring back Dwayne Johnson to play Roadblock once again after appearing in 2013’s G.I.Joe: Retaliation
“The film is set to see Johnson’s Roadblock, who first appeared in 2013’s G.I. Joe: Retaliation, assemble a new team of Joes to stop terrorists from launching a dark matter WMD that will turn their targets to dust!”
No offer is given since the actor is very tied up with multiple projects going into production within the next two years. The report mentions a slew of other characters that are expected to appear but has no mention of fan-favorites Snake Eyes (Ray Park).
