I’m starting to wonder if The Rock is some sorta mystical being with time bending abilities, as the former wrestler turned actor has signed on to star in yet another film.
With San Andreas 2, Shazam, Rampage, Fast 8 and the Jumanji reboot (to name a few) in the pipeline over the next few years, you would think the People’s Champ would have enough on his plate.
Think again, as THR reports The Rock is attached to star in Skyscraper, which is kinda described as Die Hard in China. I like this idea already and so did the studios, as the script started a huge bidding war, with Legendary splashing out a seven-figure sum to seal the deal.
Skyscraper will be written and directed by Rawson Marshall Thurber, who directed The Rock’s upcoming film Central Intelligence.
No release date has been scheduled, but the way The Rock knocks out films right, left and centre it will no doubt be hitting screens in the next few years.
