THR has learned that Edgar Ramirez (Domino, Zero Dark Thirty, Bright) has joined the cast of Jaume Collet-Serra‘s Jungle Cruise, the Disney film is loosely based on their park attraction.
Edgar who is said to be playing Jungle Cruise’s villain will join fellow cast members Dwayne Johnson, Emily Blunt, and Jack Whitehall.
The most recent draft was penned by Blade Runner 2049 and Logan co-writer Michael Green.
Filming will take place between May-August in Atlanta and Hawaii.
Disney has yet to set an official release date for Jungle Cruise.
