When we last saw Elektra Natchios, she had been killed in an epic rooftop fight in the 2nd season finale of the Marvel/Netflix Daredevil series. The Hand then stole her body and placed it into a carcophagus as Matt and Stick mourned her loss.
With death never really being the end in the world of comic books, it was only a matter of time before the beautiful assassin rose from the proverbial grave for good or ill.
The Defenders official Twitter feed has officially announced that Elodie Yung will return as Elektra in the Marvel/ Netflix limited series. Fans of the character can look forward to her up-ending Matt Murdock’s life again and speculate on what her resurrection means for the other Defenders as well.
