Elizabeth Rodriguez (Desperado, Miami Vice, Fear The Walking Dead, Orange Is The New Black, Oz, The Shield) is in talks to join Hugh Jackman in James Mangold’s Wolverine 3, they don’t name her character but do mention it be a key role in the film.
It’s been said the role of Wolverine clone Laura Kinney aka X-23 went out to actresses of multiple ethnicities including white, hispanic and Asian-looking.
