Emilia Clarke Wants To Save Her Future Film Career; Says No To ‘Terminator’ Sequels

Apr 21, 2016

Emilia Clarke while speaking with Coming Soon reveals that she doesn’t believe another Terminator film is in her future.

“No,” Clarke put it succinctly when we asked if she might again play Sarah Connor in future Terminator sequels. “Can I say that? It’s okay. No. Uh-uh. But I have some very different roles coming up.”

You can’t be too shocked about the position, as the rising star risked her future film career with playing Sarah Connor in Terminator: Genisys and the film turned out to be a clunker. Hard to imagine anyone thinking it would be a good career move for her to stick around to see if the two sequels would be any better.

It’s been long-rumored Terminator 6 and Terminator 7 would feature entire human and Skynet armies time-travelling, which sounds to us like the studio doesn’t really get the franchise and want this to become another Transformers.

Arnold is willing to come back, as I believe he’d make anything these days for right amount of money, and we love him to pieces.

I just don’t see fans supporting another stinker and those rumors about James Cameron coming back to direct are total bs. As he’s stated in the press, when the rights revert back to him he’s killing the franchise once and for all. Let’s not forget he’s busy wasting his directorial career making those four Avatar sequels nobody asked for.
