What was your first Cosplay experience?
WonderCon 2013 – my first convention and first Cosplay experience. I attempted a female version of an assassin from the Assassin’s Creed series.

How long have you been Cosplaying?
It will be two years at WonderCon 2015!

Who or what inspired you to take up Cosplaying?
I’ve always been interested in costuming and crafting, and it wasn’t until I joined a group called Nerdy Girlz that I was exposed to combining those two things with television, manga and movies. Since then, I’ve been obsessed with learning how to improve my skills.

If you had to pick a favorite Cosplay you have worn, or have seen someone else wear, what would it be?
My favorite would be my Female Gambit Cosplay. Aside from the fact that it was a simple Cosplay to make, I always have fun dressed as the character.

If you had unlimited funds and resources, what Cosplay would you create?
I would probably create something that has a lot of armor or props – maybe a character from League of Legends or Diablo III.

What advice would you offer to those who are aspiring Cosplayers?
Just have fun! It doesn’t matter how good you are, what body type you have or what skin color you are. If you love the craft, just do it. 🙂 Cosplay and conventions are for celebrating love of characters and art – and no one can, or should, take that from you.
