Exclusive: ‘Ghostbusters’ stars Dan Aykroyd and Bill Murray are currently in talks to join the cast of ‘Zombieland 2: Double Tap,’ The GWW has confirmed.
The circumstances and size of their role is currently unknown, but they will be playing fictional versions of themselves. Their roles were written into the final shooting draft of the script as well, so they have presumably signed on or are very close to doing so.
The follow up to 2009’s ‘Zombieland’ will feature all the main characters from the first movie, with Woody Harrelson, Emma Stone, Jesse Eisenberg, and Abigail Breslin all returning. Ruben Fleischer is also returning to direct the sequel, hopping straight off his box office smash ‘Venom.’ The pic is currently set to release in October of 2019.
