The CW is forging ahead with their Sabrina the Teenage Witch remake The Chilling Adventures of Sabrina. Currently, the series is expected to be a spin-off show from their massively successful series Riverdale. However, unlike the 90’s ABC series; this one is expected to be much darker. With Sabrina taking on The Occult and demons from the underworld much like the networks other hit show Supernatural.
Just last week the casting department David Rapport Casting (which helped cast Arrow, The Flash, Supergirl, Titans and Riverdale) announced that casting has indeed begun for the lead role of Sabrina. Now we at Omega Underground have uncovered a slew of audition tapes from hopeful actresses auditioning for the role. The actresses include Australian singer and actress Charlie Torr (Taking Echo, Rake), South African born Ariel Kaplan (The Saddle Club, Neighbours), Bekka Walker (The Mindy Project, Hallow Body) and newcomer Adelina Hudson:

The audition tapes also confirms that Sabrina’s teenage friend and crush Harvey will appear in the show as well. As well as more into Sabrina’s biological parents Diana Spellman high priestess of the Church of the Night and Edward an Occultist.
