Marvel’s Black Panther is currently shooting in Atlanta and we’ve been eagerly awaiting the first official images from the film. Until that time we have a rather large batch of official concept art to tide us over.
The artwork in question comes from the home release of Doctor Strange, as Marvel added a special preview segment on the release focusing on their upcoming Phase Three projects.
The preview included this stunning concept artwork from Ryan Coogler‘s Black Panther. It gives us our first genuine look at T’Challa’s home country of Wakanda.
“Black Panther follows T’Challa who, after the events of Captain America: Civil War, returns home to the isolated, technologically advanced African nation of Wakanda to take his place as King. However, when an old enemy reappears on the radar, T’Challa’s mettle as King and Black Panther is tested when he is drawn into a conflict that puts the entire fate of Wakanda and the world at risk.”

Black Panther is set for release on February 16th, 2018.
