Kotaku has posted set images from DreamWorks’ Ghost In The Shell, which has moved shooting from New Zealand to location on the streets of Hong Kong (doubling for Japan).
In the images we see glimpses of Scarlett Johansson on set in costume as The Major, along with giving us our very first look at her Lucy co-star and Game of Thrones actor Pilou Asbæk as male lead Batou rocking his iconic white flat-top haircut.
The slew of set images and video were originally posted by Asian sites HK01 and Apple Daily, reveal the multicultural futuristic setting. Honestly, these images do give impression that the market chase scene from the original 1995 anime film could be influencing the set design here.
Ghost In The Shell has a release date of March 31st, 2017.
