Production is underway in Australia on the sequel to Pacific Rim titled Pacific Rim: Maelstrom and Digital Spy has posted the first set photos featuring star John Boyega.
The film is directed by Daredevil‘s Steven DeKnight with a script written by Travis Beacham, Emily Carmichael and Guillermo del Toro.
Some of the new cast joining John include Tian Jing (The Great Wall, Kong: Skull Island), Scott Eastwood (Fury, Suicide Squad), Levi Meaden, Mackenyu and Adria Arjona.
Pacific Rim: Maelstrom is set for release on February 23rd, 2018.
