A bunch of images from the set of A.K.A. Jessica Jones have started showing-up on MTV, Tumblr and other social media sources. Many of them including our first look at Mike Colter as Luke Cage who will have a supporting role in the next Marvel Television/Netflix series to be released. The two eventually become romantically involved and seeing them sharing a motorcycle ride could be alluding to that.
There’s also a new image of David Tennant as the villain Killgrave aka The Purple Man coming from Radio Times.
After the huge response from Daredevil which was released on Netflix last friday, there is an expectation for the series to match that quality of Daredevil‘s storytelling. I assume Dexter‘s Melissa Rosenberg as the showrunner will be in the right position to give it her best shot. I’ll be honest post-Daredevil I’m more interested in seeing the Iron Fist series, but still greatly optimistic both Jones and Luke Cage will surprise me. The bar as been set high with Daredevil, so let’s see if the other shows can reach it or jump above and beyond.
