Alien: Covenant has been shooting for a couple of weeks now and to celebrate Alien Day Fox has released the first teaser image for the film via Twitter.
The image revealing the colony ship Covenant’s arm patch, which is indeed owned by Weyland-Yutani. Weyland has seemingly merged with Yuanti since the events of Prometheus as the film is set 10 years later.
Set ten years after the events of Prometheus, David is the only survivor of the crew and comes into contact with a colony ship named Covenant.
The rather large cast includes Katherine Waterston, Michael Fassbender, Danny McBride, Demian Bichir, Jussie Smollett, Amy Seimetz, Carmen Ejogo, Alex England, Callie Hernandez and Benjamin Rigby.
Alien: Covenant is currently shooing in Australia and New Zealand with it’s released slated for August 4th, 2017.
