Nov 16, 2015

The first set photos for DC Comics upcoming female superhero movie Wonder Woman has appeared online. It had star Chris Pine alongside Said Taghmaoui in what looks like to be World War I attire. This is one of several time periods the film will take place in before catching up to modern times. But we had heard that Chris Pine was playing Dainas love interest Steve Trevor in modern times? So why is in World War I?

Well according to a new rumor by Heroic Hollywood Pine might be playing dual roles. They go onto reveal Chris Pine is playing World War I Steve Trevor who crash lands on Themyscira the first time and meets Princess Diana. He will also be playing modern day Steve Trevor the great grandchild of the original.

This has all yet-to-be confirmed by DC….

Now while this might be confusing; rest assured this has been done before in film. Most recently in 2014’s Dracula Untold. Dracula’s wife Merina dies in the film but due to Dracula living for eternity he eventually finds her decedent Nina in modern times. Both characters are played by Sarah Gadon.
