Florian Munteanu Will Play Ivan Drago’s Son In ‘Creed 2’ and Shoots March-May In Philly

It’s official, German-Romanian boxer Florian Munteanu will play Ivan Drago’s son in Creed 2, originally reported by TrackingBoard.

Dolph Lundgren will be reprising the role of Russian boxer Ivan Drago’s, who killed Apollo Creed in the ring. Michael B. Jordan‘s Adonis will end up fighting his son played by Munteanu.

The report was confirmed by Sly Stallone himself on social media.

It will be directed by Steven Caple Jr. with a script from Luke Cage’s Cheo Hodari Coker.

Omega Underground has learned that the sequel will shoot from March 14th to May 16th in Philadelphia.

It’s been set for release on November 21st, 2019.
