Variety broke the news today that The Butler star Forest Whitaker has entered talks to join Gareth Edwards upcoming Star Wars Anthology film Rogue One. The movie already stars Felicity Jones as a rebel pilot along with Riz Ahmed, Diego Luna and Ben Mendelsohn. The film revolves around a group of Rebels who attempt to steal plans to the first Death Star before the events of A New Hope.
Word of Forest Whitaker’s role is unknown. It is also unknown if James Earl Jones will return to voice Darth Vader in the film either…
