Further Confirmation Marvel’s ‘The Inhumans’ Will Focus On The Royal Family

Jan 11, 2017

Last year we had learned that Marvel Studios had taken their long-in-development Inhumans movie off the current film slate.  It was then revealed that Marvel had teamed up with IMAX Theaters to film then release an Inhumans mini-series first in theaters than the rest of the episodes on ABC. It was specifically revealed that this would not be a spin-off of Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D which has already introduced the Inhumans into the MCU. But would focus on the Inhumans royal family and their city of Attlian.

Now the guys over at The Hashtag Show have revealed character breakdowns for the royal family. These breakdowns/casting call use code names to hide the characters true names but can be easily deciphered.

Broderick (Black Bolt): Male. 30-40. Caucasian.

Can say volumes with just a look. Strong, thoughtful and private, he’s unaccustomed to being questioned or feeling a need to answer to anyone, to an extent that verges on arrogance.

Marjorie (Medusa): Female. 30-40.  Caucasian.

Broderick’s younger brother; he is intelligent, charming and articulate. He comes across as a man of the people but secretly covets power.

Grady (Gorgon): Male. 25-35. Open ethnicity.

Impetuous and brash, he has a  serious impulse control issues which frequently get him into trouble whether it’s women, booze or fighting. He loves life and lives in the moment for better or worse.

Supremely athletic. The ultimate picture of cool. He’s calm under pressure and willing to do anything to get the job done.
