Earlier in the month, we revealed that Fox was still aiming to shoot Channing Tatum’s Gambit over the summer in New Orleans and that their next goal was finding a new director.
Well, HollywoodReporter’s Fox/X-Men/Marvel article reveals that Gambit is still chugging along as we previously reported. Going further to mention that a revised script is expected in March and that a director search is still indeed ongoing.
Meanwhile, Channing Tatum’s long-in-development Gambit is still looking for a director. A new draft of the script is expected in March and it is greenlit, meaning that the studio has budgeted it.
Gambit’s new release date is June 7th, 2019.
