‘Game of Thrones’ Actress Oona Chaplin Joins Multiple ‘Avatar’ Sequels

It’s been announced that Game of Thrones, Taboo, and Sherlock actress Oona Chaplin (granddaughter of Charlie Chaplin) will be taking the role of Varang in multiple Avatar films starting with Avatar 2. Omega Underground has previously revealed the next film shoots August 15th until the end of December.

Omega Underground has previously revealed the next film shoots August 15th until the end of December. Chaplin will star alongside Sam Worthington, Zoe Salanda, Sigourney Weaver, Stephen Lang, Joel David Moore, and newcomer Cliff Curtis.

Avatar 2 is set for release on December 18th, 2020.
