‘Game of Thrones’ Star Iwan Rheon Will Star in Marvel’s ‘The Inhumans’ as it’s Antagonist

Today, The Hollywood Reporter officially announced the first actor cast in Marvel and IMAX’s upcoming Inhumans TV Series. They revealed that Ramsey Bolten himself Iwan Rheon has been cast as Maximus. They add that Maximus is a clever and charming Inhuman that is fiercely devoted to the people of Attilan, especially his brother, the King — though he harbors an intense desire to wear the crown himself. The show will debut in IMAX theaters for two weeks before continuing on ABC.

Iwan Rheon garnered worldwide fame after playing the villain Ramsey Bolten on HBO’s hit series Game of Thrones. While in the earlier seasons most fans hated King Joffrey…it wasn’t until the introduction of Ramsey that brought a whole new term to the word “evil”.

Marvel TV head Jeph Loeb goes on to praise Iwan Rheon on his past roles “Iwan’s ability to be charming, roguish and still completely unexpectedly dangerous were all the different sides we needed to bring the character to life. We’re thrilled to have him on board,”

We still don’t know who has been cast in the other roles of the royal family; however, we at Omega Underground did some searching and found out some possibilities. Several weeks ago we saw that Arrow actress Elysia Rotaru and The Walking Dead actor Owen Harn started following Marvel as well as The Inhumans Twitter pages. Leading us to speculate that if cast they could be up for the roles of Medusa and Gorgon.

Also, Hemlock Grove actress Eliana Jones started following these stars as well as the Inhumans page. She even left hints the past few days landing the role of a lifetime and leaving soon to film. We went on to speculate she could be cast as the youngest Inhuman Crystal.
