‘Game of Thrones’ Writer Bryan Cogman Will Develop Yet Another Prequel Series

Sep 21, 2017

Several months ago it was revealed that a writers room of screenwriters had been hired to created 4 different Game of Thrones spin-off shows. Now while we don’t know the plot of these shows (since no books are written following these stories) it’s still very exciting for Game of Thrones fans. As next season will be the final season following Jon Snow and Khaleesi as they make the final push against Ceresi & The Night King.

Now Entertainment Weekly has revealed a longtime writer of the show Bryan Cogman will be developing another Game of Thrones prequel. Cogman started out as just an assistant to showrunners  David Benioff and Dan Weiss but grew to become one of the shows top writers. Writing the most amount of episodes only second to David Benioff and Dan Weiss.

Again, it’s unknown what this show will be about by author George RR Martin does tease this will be a true prequel to the show. As the other four shows may take place in different time periods and locations in Westeros completely. So hopefully this will be Robert’s Rebellion! Something Game of Thrones fans has been begging for since the shows introduction.
