It looks like Sony finally decided on a title for their Goosebumps sequel and its not Goosebumps: Horrorland.
Omega Underground has learned that the film will be titled Goosebumps: Slappy’s Revenge (taken from the novel) and will return to Atlanta for production sometime in the first half of 2018.
The title suggests the film will focus on Slappy the doll and it remains to be seen if Jack Black will be announced as reprising his role.
We currently don’t have production dates for the film. Sony had planned on releasing a sequel in September but that doesn’t look possible and will likely be bumped back to 2019.
