Showtime has announced that they have officially moved forward with a 10-episode order for the Halo series from Amblin Television.
Rise of The Planet of The Apes director Rupert Wyatt will produce with Steven Spielberg, Wyatt is expected to helm multiple episodes.
Awake’s Kyle Killen will showrun and write the series.
We previously reported they were eyeing a fall start in Budapest, but this new announcement includes a potential start in early 2019.
Weta Workshop has a history with the franchise but there isn’t any word if they’ll be working on the series.
