Jeanne McCarthy/Nicole Abellera Casting previously worked with Lord and Miller on their film 21 Jump Street.

They aren’t listing character or role descriptions, as they point out that primary/supporting roles will be dealt through talent agencies that information will likely not be made public. Trades will likely have access to more information in the coming days and weeks, so keep an eye out for it.

We’re expecting more new faces in the movie than old due to this being set years before the events of the original Star Wars, but there are deleted scenes from A New Hope that could be recycled for new characters. Rogue One and Force Awakens also took existing unused material for their incarnations.

Including incorporating Northern Irish actor Declan Mulholland‘s original human Jabba The Hutt (Brendan Gleeson?) along with a nod to Han’s girlfriend Jenny played by actress Jenny Cresswell.
