Last month actor Josh Gad posted a cryptic tweet on Twitter with a photo of Batman’s nemesis The Penguin. While we didn’t cover it on Omega Underground because it was just another actor campgining for a role in a comic book movie. Now Josh Gad has taken to Twitter once again to surpise fans that he has met with DC Films producers Jon Berg and Geoff Johns about possibily playing The Penguin in a future DC films. Either in The Batman or Gotham City Sirens which both go into production within the next year:

Many actors have played The Penguin in the past including Danny Devitos grotesquie version in Batman Returns. As well as Robin Lord Taylor gaining popularity with his take on the character on FOX’s Batman prequel series Gotham. But getting an actor like Josh Gad isn’t a terrible idea either. Might have to just wait and se what happens…
