Hugh Jackman has been playing a superhero the longest in our modern era of comic book movies, and he treats the fans well. He recently took to Twitter to ask fans what they’d like to see in Wolverine 3, which will be his final performance as the beloved Canadian mutant. It’s interesting that he’s polling fans while most actors don’t even bother, as it’s mostly out of their hands what makes it into their films. Not the case with Hugh, as he has some say creatively as it’s producer and star. I’m sure more than a few of the fan suggestions will be incorporated into the script, as production is said to begin early next year.
My last time putting on the claws. What do you want to see happen? 50 words or less. I’ll read as many as I can. pic.twitter.com/ksA1Gii5tf

I’m sure plenty of suggestions have been taken into account, but our number one idea is that Omega Red needs to be the main villain of this final film. Mainly, due to his history with Logan in various incarnations, including his links to his black-ops days and time with the Weapon X Program, which is expected to get a reboot of sorts before Jackman retires the character. He’s also an excellent character to replace a few villains in the Old Man Logan story, which Hugh has already sort of confirmed would be used for the film.
I still think the tiny mutant power suppressing robots in The Wolverine were hints to Omega Red, or his technology.
Wolverine 3 comes out on March 3rd, 2017.
