A new report from Deadline says that British actor Idris Elba is the frontrunner for the lead role of Roland in an a film adaptation of Stephen King’s The Dark Tower. He would potentially star alongside Matthew McConaughey, who is in talks to play the villainous Man in Black.
The role is expected to include multiple installments.
