Issue #2 of Imaginary Fiends dives deeper into the weirdness of Melba and Polly Peachpit.

I honestly never imagined enjoying this comic so much! I enjoy weird and this definitely fits that description. In a strange way it reminds me of The X-Files. Who would have thought that imaginary friends turn evil when you stop believing?! Just the idea of it is dark and creepy.

The fact that Polly Peachpit is trying to turn Melba evil again is brilliant! Poor Melba is just happy to be out of the asylum and Polly’s trying to get her to do bad things again. Special Agent Virgil Crockett came to the asylum to ask her for help in finding a missing boy. He realizes that there are things in this world that he cannot see that are doing horrible things. Melba can see these forgotten about creatures so he inlists her help to fight these imaginary friends.

The art alone in this comic is terrifyingly real!! The art is actually what drove me to read this comic and I cannot wait for more issues to come.
