Today, it was announced that the star of Insurgant Keiynan Lonsdale has been cast as Wally West a series regular in The CW’s Flash TV Series. Wally West will also follow the show by making the West family African-American something that also transferred over to the comics from his typical ginger red-head original inspiration. The Flash TV Series producer Andrew Kreisberg added “Just like when we met Grant for the first time, we instantly knew Keiynan embodied all the heart and courage of a hero. We are so excited to be bringing this much-beloved character onto the show.” this character was already announced last month at the San Diego Comic-Con along with other characters like Professor Zoom and Jay Garrick making an appearance.
