Sony isn’t slowing down their Spider-Man spin-offs with Venom releasing in October and their Morbius movie set to begin filming sometime this November. Dr. Michael Morbius turns himself into a vampire after attempt to cure himself of a blood disease goes horribly wrong.
Omega Underground has learned the Jared Leto film has added production designer Karen Murphy, who is best known for her work on Netflix’s The Get Down and the upcoming film A Star Is Born (said to be a breakout role for Lady Gaga).
Her other various production/art department credits include The Great Gatsby, Matrix Reloaded, Matrix Revolution, X-Men Origins: The Wolverine and Star Wars: Episode III – Revenge of The Sith.

ThatHashtagShow recently revealed that the main female role would be that of Martine Bancroft, Michael’s fiancee turned vampire villain.
Sony has yet to give Morbius a release date.
