Casting for Sony’s Venom spinoff is heating up as Variety reports comedian Jenny Slate is in negotiations to play a scientist in the film.
She would join Tom Hardy as Eddie Brock, Michelle Williams as Anne Weying, and Riz Ahmed in a key unnamed part.
Shooting begins on October 23rd in Atlanta until February with expectations that scenes will also be shot in New York City as well. Venom is set for release on October 5th, 2018.
