Last year, actress Tilda Swinton teased about new a project with writer-director Jim Jarmusch but didn’t reveal any details.
Well, we’ve learned that the untitled project could begin filming as soon as July and production is expected to take place in New York City. Swinton is indeed attached to the film as she suggested.
It’s only a small update but it’s start.
Could this be his Ghost Dog sequel that Rza was teasing last fall?
“Jim Jarmusch, my good buddy, and Forest Whitaker, have both signed on with me and another writer named Dallas Jackson, to executive produce another Ghost Dog. And we already have something written. So maybe Ghost Dog will make its way back to the silver screen, or small screen.”
Jim is indeed seemingly still attached to write and direct a sequel, but it remains to be seen if this is the film that shoots over the summer.
Ghost Dog: The Way of The Samurai just happens to be my favorite Jarmusch film and a sequel is extremely appealing to me, it’s hard to deny it’s influence on films like John Wick.
