It was recently revealed by TheHollywoodReporter that Geoff Johns would be stepping down as DC Entertainment’s chief creative officer. Jim Lee would instead takeover that role as Johns will be helping produce, develop, and write future DC films and television projects.
Jim Lee best known for his tenure at Marvel Comics reinventing the X-Men when they became the largest selling comic book in history.
He also created the superhero team WildCATS which has moved into the DC realm, Grifter was part of a recent Flashpoint animated film interacting with Justice League characters. There is a good change Warner Bros or the DC streaming service could explore a live-action adaptation.
There had been previous attempts to a movie which never came together but it did land a limited cartoons series in the 90s.
