Joel Kinnaman Confirms Role In David Ayer’s SUICIDE SQUAD

Mar 9, 2015

During an interview with French site Allocine while on the press tour for Run All Night actor Joel Kinnaman has confirmed his role in David Ayer’s Suicide Squad. The film is said to start production this April in Toronto, the same location where he shot the Robocop remake.

Latino Review was the first to report on Joel landing the role and this just helps further cement their credibility when it comes to these kinds of scoops.

Joel joins Will Smith, Margot Robbie, Jared Leto, Viola Davis, Jai Courtney, and Cara Delevingne.

Let’s just see how large the part becomes after the extensive rewrites from Ayer, as it’s been said Flagg’s scaled-back role was one of the major reasons Tom Hardy left the part to make The Revenant instead.

Suicide Squad is set for release in August 2016.
