Hero Synergy System
Just one of the many things added with patch 1.3. Basically this gives you reason to level up all of the heroes you have on your roster. Each Hero that you level to 25 & 50 you get a small additional buff at each landmark level. Each hero will have specific bonuses.
For example Deadpool at level 25 gives you a % Rarity bonus & at level 50 you get a % Special Item Find bonus. This can be used with every hero if you wanted. Meaning you can select the Deadpool Synergy on each of your heroes that you have leveled 25+.
The important thing is that with each hero you can select only 10 Hero Synergies to use. You can swap them out at will so, if you don’t like what you have just change it. But for many players you will be using what you have until you get up to 11 heroes leveled up to 25+. That 11th hero you’ll be asking yourself what you can part with and what you want to add.

Now, if you’re like me you’re asking yourself “hey, that’s great and all but I clicked on everything on screen and I cannot find anywhere to activate/see the Hero Synergy system”
Yeah, it took me some searching on the forums to find this out too. Oh, and some people assisted me on social chat. Thanks guys!
Before you start make sure that you are in a town. It needs to be somewhere safe. You don’t want to get attacked while looking at your Hero Synergy screen. I tried to access this in AvengersTower and it doesn’t work there. Just go to a social Hub area (town).
To pull up the Hero Synergy system you need to hit the “V” key. It should be pre-mapped on your Key Bindings but if you are hitting “V” and nothing happens. Check your Key Bindings in your options/gameplay menu.
Once you have the screen pulled up you can see that the characters you have leveled to 25+ will be slightly highlighted and a Power button is to the right of each hero. Click the power button and it activates that Heroes synergy for the current Hero you are playing. It will have a green border around it once it is activated. Just activate all the ones you want and your good to go. You will see to the left what specific buffs will be applied to your current hero.
For me, this changes some of my plans. Now that I know Deadpool has a Rarity/SIF bonus attached to him I will be focusing on leveling him up to give all my heroes that Rarity/SIF bonus. That meant I had to get some G’s today and get his STASH tab. …and Storm’s too YOLO! He may be in fact my first hero to level 50. Whodathunkit!
FYI – You should get on and play now! XP/SIF Bonus lasts until Wednesday 10-9. And the Lady Deadpool enhanced costume is now available in the shop. You should check it out.
