2014 surprise hit John Wick gave a much-needed jolt to the action thriller genre and wowed audiences with its neo-noir take on the classic revenge tale. The writer and directors of the film have brought us our first look at the sequel.

The trailer amps up the action and gives our first look at new characters in John Wick’s world and a little bit of the plot. It looks like John is the target this time and he’s doing everything he can to make sure that anyone coming after him leaves in a body bag.
John Wick Chapter 2 stars Keanu Reeves, Ian McShane, Common, Ruby Rose, Laurence Fishburne and John Leguizamo. The movie is written by Derek Kolstad and directed by Chad Stahelski and David Leitch.
John Wick comes to theaters February 10, 2017.
