Josh Brolin Wearing Thanos Mo-Cap Suit In ‘Avengers: Infinity War’ Rehearsal Pic

Sep 8, 2016

Production won’t begin on Avengers: Infinity War for a little bit longer, but that doesn’t mean the team isn’t working hard already.

The Russo Brothers have posted an image of Josh Brolin in his purple motion capture suit rehearsing as the film’s god-like villain Thanos, via their official Facebook page.

This is our first piece of behind the scenes look at the film, giving us further confirmation Thanos will indeed be a fully CGI character.

We’ve expected that a bulk of the Avengers and Civil War cast will be returning, along with The Guardians of The Galaxy. It remains to be seen if we’ll see Benedict Cumberbatch‘s Doctor Strange or Brie Larson‘s Captain Marvel in the film.

The studio hasn’t formally announced the cast for the film.

Avengers: Infinity War will begin shooting soon in Atlanta with it’s release date slated for May 4th, 2018.
