2018 is going to be a big release year for our main man Josh Brolin. He’s going to have at least three big studio films released next year.

Lionsgate has dated the Sicario sequel Soldado for a release on June 29th, 2018.

This will be a couple weeks after Deadpool 2 is unleashed upon us earlier that month. Before that, we’ll first see him terrorizing the Avengers in Avengers: Infinity War making Brolin quite the busy person concerning the press tour overload he’s going to be undertaking to promote those three movies.

Soldado (aka Soldier) will be focusing how organized crime and cartels have links to terrorism. Brolin stars with returner and fellow MCU alum Benicio Del Toro. Along with Jeffrey Donovan.

New additions include Matthew Modine, Catherine Keener, and Manuel Garcia-Rulfo.

Italian Stefano Sollima director has taken the reigns from Denis Villeneuve (still producing) with a script from pistol-hot screenwriter Taylor Sheridan (Hell or High Water, Wind River, Sicario).
