The highly anticipated sequel to 2015’s Jurassic World is gearing up to start production very soon. This comes after Monsters and Penny Dreadful director JA Bayona took the reins from the original director Colin Trevorrow who has since gone on to direct Star Wars Episode 9.
Bayona took to his Twitter (Below) a few days ago to tease that production on the sequel was beginning very shortly. Now My Entertainment World has revealed that production on the sequel will begin February 27th. They will also be heading back to film in Hawaii as well as London, UK.
This lines up with producer Frank Marshall’s comments from last year that the sequel will start shooting in “early spring”. Both Bryce Dallas Howard and Chris Pratt are expected to return for the sequel.
