The Hollywood Reporter announced yesterday that the massively successful Jurassic World film is set to get a sequel in 2018. This comes as no surprise given the first film made over $1.5 Billion worldwide at the box office crushing Marvel’s Avengers: Age of Ultron as the biggest blockbuster of the summer. The site goes onto reveal that both Bryce Dallas Howard and Chris Pratt will retuning with director Colin Trevorrow.
Last we heard Disney was looking at Colin Trevorrow to direct a future Star Wars spin-off film or even an Indiana Jones reboot with Chris Pratt but none of that was confirmed. Now it seems both are off the table as he is now hard at work on the Jurassic World sequel.
