‘Jurassic World’s Jake Johnson Also Joining ‘The Mummy’ Reboot

Yet another actor has joined Tom Cruise in Universal’s Mummy reboot.

The Hollywood Reporter has learned that comedian Jake Johnson will play a military role specifically written for him.

Jake is best known for his small supporting role in last year’s Jurassic World.

Cruise is playing an ex-special forces solider, Sofia Boutella (Kingsman, Star Trek Beyond) will play the titular mummy, and Annabelle Wallis (Brothers Grimsby, Peaky Blinders, Knights of The Roundtable) who is in talks would play an archaeologist.

It has a release date of June 9th, 2017.
