‘Justice League’: Is This The First Look At Superman’s Black Suit?

Jan 21, 2017

Despite Henry Cavill’s Superman dying at the end of “Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice“, it’s no secret the character would return for Zack Snyder’s “Justice League“.

It’s not known exactly how the Man of Steel will be resurrected, but there’s been some hints the “Justice League” movie would use the comic book arc “The Death and Return of Superman” for inspiration. Back last year, Henry Cavill even teased the black Superman suit would be seen in the film, the one Supes wore when he returned from his period of stasis.

Now a new image has made its way online via LaFortalezaSole, claiming to be a leaked image of Superman in the black get up. Check it out:

It’s unknown where the picture originated from, and with everyone and their granny’s now able to use Photoshop, there’s more of a chance this is fake. Then again it may not be, it’s hard to tell with how blurry the image is. Even if it does turn out to be a mock-up, its pretty cool to picture Cavill in the black costume.

Fueled by his restored faith in humanity and inspired by Superman’s selfless act, Bruce Wayne enlists the help of his newfound ally, Diana Prince, to face an even greater enemy. Together, Batman and Wonder Woman work quickly to find and recruit a team of metahumans to stand against this newly awakened threat. But despite the formation of this unprecedented league of heroes—Batman, Wonder Woman, Aquaman, Cyborg and The Flash—it may already be too late to save the planet from an assault of catastrophic proportions.

Justice League will hit screens November 17, 2017
