During Entertainment Weekly‘s massive Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice comic-con special they talked to director Zack Snyder about his next DC project Justice League. Apparently Snyder and screenwriter Chris Terrio has already finished the first draft for Justice League as well as the rest of the DC Cinematic Universe “Chris would talk and I would draw and it was basically this weird mural of the movies with no words,” The director also went onto reveal that before Batman and Superman became the idea for the Man of Steel follow-up another set of villains was in the mix. “I remember talking about, ‘What’s the next villain? We can’t do another alien invasion.’ Brainiac was definitely down the road. Metallo, I think, was going to be the main bad guy of this movie.” What’s even more surprising is there was once a rumor that Braniac might be the first villain for the Justice League but that was never confirmed.
Justice League Part 1 is expected to hit in 2017
