Kevin Feige Says Doctor Strange Won’t Appear In ‘Spider-Man: Far From Home’

Jul 6, 2018

Despite a long-standing crime fighting relationship and proximity in the comics it doesn’t look like we’ll be seeing a Spider-Man and Doctor Strange team-up in Spider-Man: Far From Home.

Marvel Studios head Kevin Feige says during an interview with SlashFilm that won’t be happening in the sequel but admits that Benedict Cumberbatch and Tom Holland are keen to work together.

I could be coy about it but no.

I don’t wanna get people excited. But Benedict and Holland have liked the idea of working together.

There’s always Doctor Strange 2 which Feige recently confirmed will eventually happen. Pairing them up together in Strange’s solo film could be fun as Peter would likely have to face a villain outside of his sandbox.

Filming on Far From Home is underway in London with a release date set for July 5th, 2019.
