‘Kong: Skull Island’ Cinematographer Larry Fong Will Shoot ‘The Predator’

Nov 21, 2016

Shane Black is assembling an amazing crew for The Predator as he’s just added cinematographer Larry Fong to the production, according to a report from Slash Film.

I have learned that Cinematographer Larry Fong has been hired as cinematographer for Shane Black‘s The Predator. This is great news for the upcoming reboot/sequel to the iconic 1987 sci-fi film Predator.

Fong is best known for his stunning visual work on films such as Watchmen, 300Batman v Superman and the upcoming Kong: Skull Island. This could lead to The Predator being one of the more beautiful of the predator movies.

Boyd Holbrook will be playing special forces soldier Quint McKenna, with Olivia Munn set to play a scientist.

Other crew members include Avatar and Deadpool‘s visual effects supervisor Jonathan Rothbart will handling the digital effects and Tom Woodruff Jr. will be returning for the creature effects for the predator.

Production begins this February in Vancouver with it’s release date set for February 9th, 2018.
