Today, during San Deigo Comic-Con it was announced at the Krypton panel that the big bad villain for season 2 will feature fan-favorite Lobo. For about 15 years DC and Warner Brothers have tried to develop Lobo into a feature film (With Michael Bay the latest to attempt a film) but look like he will make his debut on the small screen first. No casting has been announced but after using Brainiac in season one many fans wondered what was next for the series?
Production on season 2 will begin October 1st in Belfast, Nothern Ireland. With Cameron Cuffe returning to play Superman’s grandfather Seg-El. Showrunner Cameron Welsh and his team will also be returning for the sophomore season. Original developer David Goyer will not be returning.
